Prayer Focus week 24 (Sunday-Shabbat)
In the last couple of weeks, the Lord has answered many, many prayers about strained family relationships. Every day we hear one testimony after another of how God is opening communications and bringing families together – hallelujah!
NOW is the time to stay the course. Continue walking according to His ways. Be proactive and act according to His Word, rather than reacting with emotion. These answers are coming because of persevering saints – no storm is too strong to hold them back. Together, as a team of intercessors, we will continue praying and believing for total restoration of relationships. We’ll hold up each other’s arms in prayer until we see His miracles.
Verse upon which to meditate:
o “ Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly loved children and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God,” Ephesians 5:1, NIV.
“Magnificent, omnipotent Father. You have brought those who were far off closer to us! Thank YOU! We pray that You continue enhancing these relationships. We praise You for the mighty work You have begun. Help us to walk according to Your ways – help us to love even in difficult circumstances. We pray You move mightily during Lori’s surgery; You continue healing Bonnie, Judy, Yolanda, & Jeannette; protecting and guiding Natan, Kyle, and our soldiers, be with their wives and families during their deployments; You give jobs and favor to those who are in the workplace. Bring Your peace to Jerusalem. In Your holy Name, we pray.”

o God will protect our soldiers – that He will give them wisdom.

Her parents knew prior to her birth that she would have these huge life-long medical challenges and were offered abortion as an alternative. They chose life – hallelujah! o Piggie (Pamela’s friend) “I have an urgent prayer request for my mobile home. The short of it is that there was quite a bit of fraud in the sale of my home, and the purchasing of my little mobile home. I have worked on this issue for three years, trying to beat the clock. I have not been able to find the right attorney. Now, the D.A. is deciding if this is a civil case, or bad enough to be a criminal case. Meanwhile, it is the start of the rainy season here. My roof was to have been new, but is 33 years old and leaking. The termite inspection was never done, and there is blackish mold behind my walls, and much wood rot everywhere. The walls fill with water and are spongy… and on, and on….”
