Week 2 Prayer Focus (Tuesday-Shabbat)

What an absolutely amazing God we are privileged – perhaps, “honored” is a better choice of words –  to serve! Can you imagine that the Creator of Time chose US! We were chosen by The One who knows all – the One who loves us so much that HE gave His ONLY son (unlike Islam’s allah who demands that his followers give their sons – Our Lord gave His!) I am amazed and in awe that He chose us to partner with Him in seeing our world change!

Answers & Comments:

  • “Thank you for your e-letter, which keep me going. I am so thankful for how the Lord is answering prayers. I am praying the Armor of God over myself . I am refusing dout, denial, and deceit. I will pray that over our Wall of Prayer members, as well. “Oh, Lord, that I would look out for others and not in to myself. Please help me to be self-less and less self-centered. In Jesus’Name.”” — from the member of our team who was discouraged last week.
  • Bonnie emailed: “Our daily prayer and worship of our Almighty God has brought me the following revelation: The greatest miracle we will ever see is that God (King of Kings, the Great I Am, Creator of All) will even listen to us. He wants to hear from us, He cares about our concerns (no matter how insignificant they seem), He cares about us. It is no accident that we can approach Him; He made the way from the beginning. He dwells in our praise and it is imperative that we regard Him with awe and reverent respect for who He is and what He has done for us. He owes us nothing but we owe Him everything. Imagine where we would be if there was no hope … that is what it would be like if He had not made a way for us. “Thank you, dear Heavenly Father, for Your great mercy on us and Your great love.”
  • Josiah’s progress: “Saturday evening, they weighed him, and he’s now a whole 5 POUNDS! Thank You, ABBA! They also stated that, pending no issues, he would be released by Tuesday….Look at what unified prayer and fasting does! I may still have stitches, but I speak complete healing in the name of JESUS, AMEN!
  • Tracy further added: “Through this, G-D has taught me that when we go into battle against the devil, and his spirits, G-D goes before us and becomes JEHOVAH NISSI – The LORD our banner – and when we pray as a church unified with one another, there are angels that G-D sends to guide and protect us from everything that the devil and his spirits might try to do to us and our families!”

Isn’t it exciting watching how our Heavenly Father is moving!!!

Special Requests:

  • Norman’s heart ablation surgery on Tuesday (tomorrow morning)  — that it will be a success and he will have no more heart issues!
  • Family relationships – we agree that nothing can divide that which God has joined together! (husbands and wives – parents and children)
  • The If My People … pray & act website. We are praying this will quickly be up and ready – there are so many more things the Lord has laid on Don’s heart. The website is a major part, and we are getting excited for it to be finished – quickly!
  • Favor at work – that our quality of our work will reflect our hearts for the One we serve – that we will be a blessing to our peers and superiors.

 Scriptures upon which to meditate:

  • “Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much,” James 5:16, NASB
  • “Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always strive to do what is good for each other and for everyone else. Rejoice always,  pray continually, “ I Thess 5:15-17, NIV.

“Father, Thank You, that You desire relationship with us – to hear from us – to answer our prayers. We bless You, our mighty God. Forgive us for _____. We pray that You place a hedge of protection around our Team members. Teach us how to pray, according to Your will. Be with Norman during his surgery – let it be 100% successful. Heal these family relationships that are in crisis. Help our hearts to be tender to Your nudges as You lead us. Thank You for hearing us. In Your mighty Name.”
