Heaven rejoices, while we sorrow.
A giant in the Kingdom, David Davis, co-founder of Kehilat HaCarmel in Haifa, has gone to be with the Lord.
David carried in him the spirit of David Wilkerson, and indeed was sent out from Times Square Church.
David received his reward after a long battle. But his legacy lives on in Israel, which includes a successful Teen Challenge styled program for drug addicts in Haifa, a congregation on Mount Carmel that reaches Jews and Arabs alike, a women’s shelter, Kehilat Kerem El (a Hebrew-speaking congregation led by Dani and LuAnne Sayag), and much more.
Karen, his wife, is a phenomenal worship leader. Below is one of powerful songs the Lord gave her. Ata Tsuri (“Fear not, for I am with you!” It is a confession that burns with a white phosphorous intensity through every song of worship leader Karen Davis.)
