Are YOU an Overcomer?

Prayer Focusweek 20 (Sunday-Shabbat)

Today, we are being pulled in every direction. We are too busy. We don’t have enough time, money, friends, patience, etc. How can we overcome when we are stressed to the max?

According to the dictionary, “overcome” means to succeed in dealing with a problem or difficulty; to defeat and prevail.

God gave us the tools and ability to be overcome. 1st, we need to meditate on His Word day and night – read and meditate on His word daily. 2nd, obey His Word. 3rd, persevere – do not turn left or right but to press in. And, THEN we will overcome!

Verse upon which to meditate:
“Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go. Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful,” Joshua 1:7-8 NIV. (Deuteronomy 31:6 NIV)

Prayer:
“O mighty God, our redeemer! You have bought us – and all of our ‘issues’ – with Your holy blood. Thank You! We are grateful that You will never leave us nor forsake us – You have given us the victory to overcome ALL these situations in You. We bless You! Help us not to shrink back from the difficulties in life but to press in, because in You we will see Your victory. We lift before Your throne all of the requests below: heal those who are ill, do miracles in the lives of the hurting, bring encouragement to the discouraged, protect those who are in harm’s way. Be with Your faithful intercessors. In Your awesome Name.”
