Will YOU pray for America? part 2
Week 19, year 2! (Sunday-Shabbat)
Studies show that the average person wastes what amounts to two hours a day sitting at a traffic light, surfing the internet, checking email or facebook, or daydreaming. What if we put just 15 of those minutes every day to praying for America?
Think about it. That's less than the amount of time it takes you to brush your teeth & get dressed, or to check your email. Will you spend 15 minutes a day praying for our country?
Although the National Day of Prayer, whose historic origins date to a mandate by the President George Washington, is in May, believers all over the globe are praying and fasting for our nation at this time.
“LORD, we thank You that You have brought us to such a time as this – to pray for the land that You have given us. We pray for revival in our land. Turns the hearts of Americans back to You. Help us to realize that our own wiles will not bring Your peace. Forgive our sins. Confusethe plans of the enemy to destroy our country and culture. Heal the physically, mentally, and spiritually sick. Thank You for Your mighty intervention in Paul’s life. We continue to pray for total restoration. Bring your peace and protection to our soldiers and to J’lem. In Your precious Name we pray.”
